Ian Dethloff was born and raised in the small mountain community of Crested Butte, Colorado. He attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins where he earned a BS in Natural Resource Tourism. After completing his degree, Ian spent the next several years working between Crested Butte in the winter and northern Wisconsin in the summer. Having attended summer camp as a child, Ian chose to return to Wisconsin to be a camp counselor and was then was promoted to trip director where he organized and led extensive wilderness trips. Ian fostered many important relationships while working at camp in Wisconsin. One of those relationships was with Holly Chione, the owner of Morton Properties Denver.
Growing up in a real estate family, Ian saw it as a natural transition to take the relationship based skills he honed in his role as a counselor and trip director back to Colorado and become a realtor. Having been involved in real estate from a young age Ian recognized the importance of carrying the values of hard work, integrity and outstanding client service into every transaction. Ian’s path is based on his strength in developing strong connections and working with people. Ian is thrilled to join Morton Properties and is looking forward to the opportunity to utilize his real estate knowledge and problem solving skills while helping clients buy and sell homes.
When not helping Denver area home buyers and sellers, Ian enjoys playing hockey, golf and exploring the vast recreational activities that Colorado has to offer.
